Chief Executive Officer
Ryan Long
Ryan Long is the Chief Executive Officer of Inventure Renewables, driving the company’s growth by overseeing the development of three first-of-their-kind renewable technologies—totaling approximately $250 million in installed capital—across the United States and overseas. Named on 20 patents, he is recognized for pioneering sustainable processes and technologies.

Appointed CEO in December 2019, Ryan previously served as Chief Technology Officer, expanding Inventure’s licensing, sponsored research, manufacturing, and engineering services. In this capacity, he leveraged the company’s biodiesel platforms and nutraceutical expertise to forge new partnerships and improve process efficiencies.

As Engineering Manager, he led over thirty engineers and chemists, culminating in the commissioning of Inventure’s first commercial-scale technology at a 10,000-ton-per-year capacity. He also founded the Sponsored Research division to spur external innovation and collaboration.

Before joining Inventure in 2015 as a Lead Project Engineer, Ryan developed the Mixed Supercritical Fluid (MSCF) platform for nutraceuticals with Wilmar International. Earlier, he contributed to DARPA-funded algae-based biofuel initiatives at General Atomics and UOP, and subsequently provided front-end documentation for an international renewable energy project with Alchimia in Missouri. He is a Presidential Scholar graduate from the University of Alabama with a degree in chemical and biological engineering.
