DDG to Cellulosic Ethanol Conversion Technology

With current corn-based ethanol production, a great deal of low-value Dried Distiller Grains (DDG) is created as a by-product of the process. Inventure has pioneered a process that can convert DDG into a number of valuable lipid and cellulosic products including chemical grade esters, polyols, biodiesel, lactic acid, and cellulosic ethanol.

  • Converting DDG to cellulosic chemicals and fuels results in substantial top-line revenue increases
  • Conversion process can be first step of plant's diversification of feedstock inputs and higher value product outputs
  • Conversion process can be easily added to existing plant infrastructure
